« You came into Your Temple, You, the immolated Lamb, the torch of New Jerusalem, the true Temple, in whom we are living stones…”
This morning, on February 2nd, we processed to the chapel chanting this refrain, to meet the Lord as He was presented in the Temple by Mary and Joseph, and recognised by Simeon and Anna.
We processed from the entrance of the enclosure, through the cloister to the chapel. The heavy rain falling since yesterday (blessed be God for the rain!) didn’t blow out the candles!
Today is Day for Consecrated Life. We renewed our vows to follow Christ by the evangelical counsels. On this feast Day we are in communion with all the consecrated souls, especially monks, friars and nuns of this Patriarchate in Holy Land.
