"For the peace of Jerusalem pray: “May those who love you prosper!!’

(Psalm 121:6)

Dear friends, families and benefactors,

At a time when our region is going through a difficult period, we simply wish to say ‘thank you!’

The gestures of kindness and support we receive touch us deeply. They reach us in our daily lives and bring us a quiet yet very real presence. Thanks to you, we do not feel alone.

Here in the Holy Land, current circumstances make life more uncertain, and many of our usual points of reference have faded. Silence has gradually replaced the bustle of pilgrimages, and ordinary means of subsistence have become scarce. In this simple and stripped-back reality, we continue on our path in peace and hope.

Our vocation remains the same: to pray, to keep watch and to offer our lives in hidden fidelity, at the heart of this Holy Land where Christ lived, suffered and gave his life. In the peace of ordinary days, despite the constant interruptions, day and night, of sirens and explosions, we remain in prayer for the Church, for peace in our world. We pray for families in distress, for all those who long for peace and brotherhood, and for the conversion of hearts.

Your support enables us to remain here, like a humble light watching over the night. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your closeness, your kindness and your prayers.

May the peace of the Risen Christ

dwell in our hearts

and spread throughout this Holy Land,

marked by his Passion

and forever illuminated by his Resurrection!

THE LORD IS TRULY RISEN!

ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA!

"A HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!!

Always in communion with you, in prayer:

Your Sisters of the Carmel of Jerusalem!
