Invitation to the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

As we approach the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, it is with great joy that we invite you, whether near or far, to join us in our thanksgiving, either by being present with us or through our communion in prayer.

The Solemn Mass

will be celebrated

on 16 July 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

We would be delighted to share this beautiful celebration of our Carmelite family with all who are able to join us.

This year's preparation has been marked by a special grace. At the beginning of our novena, on 7 July, we had the joy of welcoming our Father General, Fr. Miguel Márquez Calle, for a fraternal visit.

During the celebration of the Eucharistic ,

Our Father General reminded us that all authentic communication finds its source in our communion with the Lord. The mental prayer is the door that leads us into an ever deeper encounter with God. Far from turning us inward, it opens and enlarges our hearts, making us more available, more patient and more attentive to others. This is the experience that Saint Teresa of Jesus, Our Mother, shares with us: the closer we get to Christ, the more his love transfigures and shines in our daily lives.

We give thanks to the Lord for this fraternal visit, which has been a source of encouragement for our community. In the afternoon, he continued his fraternal visit with our sisters at the Carmel of Bethlehem.

On this Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we remain united with each of you in prayer. May the Blessed Virgin Mary obtain for our world the precious gift of peace, especially for the Holy Land and the whole Middle East!
